Doctor Alyssa
Growing up in Pineville, WV, my dentist was a close family friend. We celebrated Christmas together every year at my grandparents' house, and I was able to see firsthand just how amazing being a dentist could be and all of the awesome relationships I could form within the community. I attended West Virginia University (Let's Go Mountaineers!) in Morgantown, WV and received my Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Aquatic Therapy in 2014. From there, I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2018. I worked as an associate dentist in both West Virginia and North Carolina for 6 years before the opportunity arose for Dr. Matt and myself to finally have our own private practice. My goal as a dentist is to make sure every patient I meet feels like family and knows I truly care.
Outside of the office, faith and family are the center of my life. We attend Peninsula Baptist Church, where we enjoy serving in the preschool and kids ministries on Sunday mornings. Dr. Matt and I also have two beautiful kids who keep us busy! When I'm not chasing my kids or running them to school events and practices, I enjoy being outside hiking, playing golf and tennis, and gardening. On rainy days, I find enjoyment in baking and puzzles.
