Doctor Matt
I grew up in Portland, OR and spent most of my time playing soccer. I attended Oregon State University and West Virginia University where I continued my soccer career as a D1 athlete and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. While in undergrad, I participated in the Global Medical and Dental Brigades where I went with a group and provided care for a community in Honduras. This was the spark of my interest in dentistry! I decided to pursue my dental career and in 2020, I graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Much like Dr. Alyssa, I worked as an associate dentist in Gastonia, NC before we were able to achieve our dream of owning our private practice.
When I'm not looking at teeth, I am an active member at our church and love to spend my time playing/watching sports! Soccer has been such a big part of my life, and now I find enjoyment coaching the next generation of youth soccer. Aside from sports, I love the outdoors and could spend all day fishing (if my wife would let me!)
